About the Intelligence Hub

Beagle Watch is proud to introduce our all new Intelligence Hub broadcast group. This is an exclusive broadcast group which we have created specifically for our clients to keep them in the know.

To join the INTEL HUB broadcast group, please note that you must save the number 082 464 9957 to your contact list on your cell phone. Once saved, you will be able to receive all messages being broadcast over the INTEL HUB.

HOW IT WORKS: Information received from SAPS, residents, the CCTV network, Community Policing Forums, cooperating security companies, Metro Police, Response Officers and Informants is filtered.

Once verified, information is shared with our clients and other law enforcement bodies through the intelligence hub in the form of a WhatsApp broadcast group.

Please contact us on 011 678 1972 or send a mail to intelhub@beaglewatch.co.za should you require any additional people to be added to our broadcast group, such as tenants living on your property or family members. Please remember this is a client service only and as such, we will check any and all numbers that are sent to us to be added.

Intelligence Hub Disclaimer

Rules and regulations(rules of behaviour/conduct):
This broadcast group is an extension of Beagle Watch Armed Responses communication channels and as such, is also governed by our internal constitution and the mandate under which we work in conjunction with relevant law enforcement departments. This broadcast group is only open to signed up Beagle Watch Armed Response clients that agree to adhere to these Rules and Regulations. Special request can be made to Admins to add family members and people currently living with an existing client.

Please read through below list so that you can have an idea of what to expect from the broadcasted messages, how the communication works and what can be shared and broadcasted from this group to other groups privately. Failure to adhere to these guidelines may result in your removal from the INTELLIGENCE HUB depending on the infringement. This decision will be taken by the Beagle Watch Armed Response Admin or Executive Board.

  • Rules and Regulations to be sent to all clients before adding them to the INTELLIGENCE HUB broadcast group.
  • Client to have option of being added or not being added.
  • The INTELLEGENCE HUB is a one-way communication broadcast tool for clients only.
  • Content shared on this broadcast group is for Beagle Watch clients ONLY. Content from these groups may NOT be shared with any third party unless otherwise specified. Crime related information is sensitive as it can impact on the apprehension of known or wanted suspects. Only Beagle Watch group admins may forward the information on to other community WhatsApp groups or necessary third parties.
  • This INTELLEGENCE HUB broadcast group is not a chat group. It is in place to alert our clients of suspicious behaviour / concerns/ crime related information and miscellaneous information relevant to our areas of operation.
  • Never send content, information or "news" that HAS NOT been verified. Placing content whose authenticity has not been definitively proven can be VERY dangerous and harm many people. WhatsApp is infested with lies and it is better to put a stop to them than to be guilty of spreading them.
  • We reserve the right to promote and share other activities and events in our areas that have a positive impact on the prevention of crime in our communities.
  • Please message admins privately (we will explain this in more detail) if you are asked to do so for feedback or if you have any concerns or suggestions.
  • While WhatsApp community groups are a great way to stay in touch and communicate with neighbours and the community, it is not a means of communication between yourselves, the SAPS and us, Beagle Watch Armed Response. This broadcast group can only send messages to our clients. Therefore, we ask that you please report your concerns directly to us on 0116781972 or 011 577 1200, alternatively to your local SAPS station or by calling the national 10111 call centre.
